Richard O'Brien portrait, mixed media

Back in 2004-5 I was working on a book cover with Bryan Talbot & I was introduced inadvertently to receiving a commission from Richard after he’d seen my art. Back then our correspondence involved letters & phone-calls as he wasn’t interested in emails or web 😊. I initially sent rough proofs in the post before sending the final to his home in Cheltenham. I nervously waited his response once the final was done... days later he wrote me in a letter saying.... “ Jordan Darling, what can l say, it’s bold, exquisite, perfect!! ....just like me 😉.
